Kenyan runner Thomas James Lokomwa won the race with second place Geoffrey Kiprono Ngetich coming in ahead of Silas Muturi Gichovi making a clean Kenyan 1-2-3. The race, along with a family 3km fun-run which took place earlier in the day, was one of a number of events held in Milan this week to mark the Kenyan Week celebrations at Expo Milan 2015, a universal exhibition and platform for the exchange of ideas and shared solutions on the theme of food.
