Balbala, Djibouti (Nov. 19, 2006) - Lt. _cmd_r. Wendy Halsey from Honolulu, Hawaii, kicks a soccer ball around like she has since she was six years old. Halsey_qt_s friends and family collected more than 300 soccer balls from churches, schools and organizations throughout the United States for donation to schools and orphanages throughout the Horn of Africa. Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa is a unit of United States Central Command. The organization conducts operations and training to assist partner nations to combat terrorism in order to establish a secure environment and enable regional stability.
